We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Residential Building Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting residential maintenance repair orders under our maintenance contracts and emergency services team. You’ll inspect, report, and repair efficiently by responding to work orders and performing preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal person for this job is a team player and a problem solver who has prior residential, building, facility, or comparable maintenance experience.

Schedule:
5/8 or 4/10 schedules based on operational needs
Employment Type:

Work Location:
Local travel between job sites required
Pay:
Hourly, based on experience. Review upon successful completion of the probationary period.
On Call/Emergency Response:
Participation in an on-call rotation
Tools & Equipment:
Employee responsible for basic tools listed on employee required tool list. Specialty tools company provided for assigned work
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 70lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions
Work Environment:
Indoor and Outdoor work in residential and commercial settings
Licensing:
Valid Driver’s license required. Personal reliable transportation to and from sites required.

Position is subject to a probationary period

Responsibilities- Conduct service repairs and routine maintenance on systems such as HVAC units, boilers, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
- Conduct maintenance repair on sump pumps, plumbing fixtures, and appliances
- Respond to work orders by inspecting damage, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs
- Keep record through accurate job reporting
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Available to be on call and respond to emergency maintenance requests on rotating weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and ability to travel between job sites
