Maintenance Technician

Location:
Anchorage, AK

Pay: $25 - $27 per hour

Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established residential property management company with multiple locations across Anchorage. Known for delivering quality living environments and responsive maintenance services, this team is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join their crew.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Complete general maintenance and repair requests in a timely, professional manner
• Perform work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliances
• Install and repair fixtures, door/window hardware, blinds, drywall, and weatherproofing
• Assist with make-readies for new residents
• Conduct daily inspections of mechanical and storage rooms
• Remove bulk trash and assist with seasonal prep and cleanup
• Provide on-call emergency support as part of a rotation
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, guests, and team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting
• Strong skills in general maintenance, plumbing, basic electrical, and appliance repair
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
