Exploration Geologist

We are hiring Geologists to join our core logging and field geology team in Ketchikan/Petersburg, Alaska. This position supports daily geological logging, data capture, and interpretation for active drilling programs while contributing to geochemical and mapping projects.

PERKS AND BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $375-$450/day (USD), based on experience
• Contract term:
  June-October 2026 (3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Conduct detailed core logging, including lithology, alteration, and structure
• Manage sample layout, numbering, and data recording
• Perform QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of geological data
• Assist in mapping and geochemical sampling programs as needed
• Participate in interpretation and drill planning discussions with senior staff
• Support continuous improvement in geological workflows and camp operations

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences
• Previous field or mineral exploration experience preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and geological data management
• Strong organization and flexibility within changing field priorities
• Collaborative communication style for small, team-based camp settings
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in remote environments
