Neuroscience Account Manager; Psychiatry - Alaska

Role Summary

Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) in Alaska responsible for exceeding established sales goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services. Reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and collaborates closely on sales strategy, product promotion, and territory development.

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets.
• Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Meet reasonable credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities to maintain employment.
• Engage in additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; candidates not meeting experience may be considered for an Associate role.
• Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in the territory preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
• Fortitude to sell and compete with a hunter mentality.
• Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
• Ability to travel (may include overnights); occasional travel to HQs, training, and meetings may be required.
• Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
• Must reside within the territory geography.

• Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations.

• Effective selling and presentation abilities; multitasking and prioritization.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, and computer proficient.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; able to operate a motor vehicle for local, regional, and overnight travel.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 15 pounds occasionally.
