Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Base Manager at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson commissary. This role is ideal for a spouse, student, or retiree seeking flexible employment to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Visit commissary locations and complete assigned tasks, including maintaining call frequency, selling and placing authorized items, filling shelves, building displays, and conducting inventory checks.

Ensure proper shelf management, including facings, resets, pricing, coupons, and POG compliance.

Communicate effectively with the Area Manager and report issues promptly.

Build and install displays, manage stock levels, and place Point of Sale materials as directed.

Report low stock or out-of-stock issues and complete call reporting procedures using provided technology.

Perform physical tasks such as building and moving racks and displays weighing up to 100 lbs.

Requirements

Access to a computer, printer, and smartphone to download and upload information.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 lbs.
Pre-employment drug screening required.
