Hourly Pay: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Assistant Store Managers earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $6.34 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/third‑key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store, promote a positive and productive environment, partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and customer loan security.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
- Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain lending integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to reinforce store mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Cash handling experience is required.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience;
