Hourly Pay: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour

We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Assistant Store Managers earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $6.34 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/third‑key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store, promote a positive and productive environment, partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and customer loan security.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain lending integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to reinforce store mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical skills; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience;
  Minimum Age: 18 years old.
