We are hiring for Food Service Attendant position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is part-time, 0.5 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 20 hours per week.

Under supervision prepares a variety of foods requiring short preparation for patients, public, staff and catered events. Serves meals and beverages with strong customer service interaction. Ensure HACCP guidelines are followed and that food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing of work areas and equipment is performed properly.

Required Qualifications:

• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:
  Specific vocational training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment.
• 6 months training or on the job training in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
