COOK (ON CALL) role at Compass One Healthcare.

Location:

ST Elias - 4800 Cordova Street, Anchorage, AK 99503.

Schedule:

Full time schedules. Days and hours may vary; more details upon interview. Requirement:
One year of previous cook experience is required. Pay: $20.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains records from area worked during service and uses established ticket procedures.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; stores food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains professional working relationships with staff and leaders.
• Performs duties safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures proper presentation and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Complies with company policies and procedures, including proper use of protective equipment and safe lifting techniques.

• One year of previous cook experience is required.
