This is a labor pool from which the College of Arts and Sciences will draw when graduate research assistants are needed to work on sponsored projects. Incumbents will join faculty and researchers who are active in conducting research in various disciplines. This will include working on one or more funded projects in these research areas under the guidance of Principal Investigators.

• Assist with data collection procedures and data entry procedures.
• Use computerized spreadsheets and databases to manage data; manipulate data to produce charts and graphs to display trends.
• Interpret data results for reporting and support dissemination of findings.
• Work in remote locations, sometimes under extreme conditions, as required by research projects.

To thrive in this role, graduate students must be eager to learn by collecting data samples, reporting findings, and collaborating effectively with others.

• Bachelor's Degree and enrollment in a graduate program at the University of Alaska.

• Master's Student: $25.17/hourly equivalent
• Doctoral Student: $29.80/hourly equivalent
