Hiring Range: $41.45 to $55.27

Pay Range: $41.45 to $62.17

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services to support the individual customer-owner plan of care. This role involves independently applying the nursing process to care for customer-owners with diverse and sometimes unidentified needs. The position supports operations at the Brother Francis Shelter, Covenant House, and Detox Center. Responsibilities include collecting health data, analyzing information, reporting changes, implementing care plans, and evaluating progress collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

SCF serves primarily Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian populations within SCF’s service area. Candidates should understand the cultures and needs of this population to promote wellness in line with SCF’s mission and vision.

• Licensed in Alaska as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required for specific roles.

Additional Qualifications for Detox Center:

• Obtain Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) approval within three years of provisional provider approval by the State of Alaska.

Compliance with SCF’s Employee Health procedures is mandatory. Healthcare positions require documentation of these immunizations before starting.
