Verovain Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team in Anchorage, Alaska.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CATH Lab), you will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Job specification
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process.
- Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during cardiac procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, assess cardiac status, and intervene as necessary to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac procedures, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes following regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- 2 - 3 years of recent experience in cardiac nursing, with specific experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) strongly preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
