Description

Provides and assists in the provision of direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full‑time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours: Full Time (3) 12‑Hour Shifts per week

Shifts: Day Shift

Premium Pay Differentials:

• Nights: $4.00/hr
• Weekends: $2.20/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:
  Successful completion of an Alaska state‑approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Within 30 days of hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:
  Some college courses in nursing or therapy field.
• 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.
