Clinic RN Overview

The Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory care environment, addressing patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the lifespan. The role uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to coordinate care, deliver education, and ensure appropriate interventions via direct, telephonic/telehealth, and electronic encounters.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team, maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, supporting clinicians in delivering quality health care, and reflecting the organization’s core values.

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Alaska Registered Nurse license upon hire
• American Heart Association BLS–National Provider certification upon hire
• Minimum 18 months of professional nursing experience
