Talento has partnered with a global airline in the search for a Maintenance Manager to lead their Anchorage, AK operations under the leadership of the Director of Maintenance.
The Aircraft Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations at the assigned base, ensuring aircraft safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability. This role leads maintenance teams, manages resources, and ensures all work is performed in accordance with aviation regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily aircraft maintenance operations at the base
- Ensure compliance with aviation authority regulations (FAA/EASA/CAA)
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff
- Oversee aircraft inspections, repairs, and return-to-service activities
- Coordinate with flight operations, engineering, and vendors
- Valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
- 3+ years of experience in a position responsible for returning aircraft to service.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as the Company operates.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations Parts 65, 91, 121.
- 3+ years of experience in maintaining large airplanes with an air carrier knowledge of FAA regulations.
