Longhorn Energy & Transportation is seeking a qualified Field Technician to join our team, ideally located in Juneau or Anchorage, Alaska, though candidates from the contiguous United States with airport access will also be considered. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $40 to $50, along with accommodations and meals during travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to various mining sites across Alaska, including Kensington Mine, Green's Creek Mine, Manh Choh Mine, and Prudhoe Bay, to perform maintenance and repairs on Sandvik Rock Drills and Mobile Crushing Equipment.

This role requires the ability to work independently in challenging weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain, and snow. Must have experience working in below

• Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Ensuring optimal performance to minimize downtime.
• Adhering to safety regulations in harsh environments.

Candidates should have proven experience as a Field Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, familiarity with Sandvik equipment, and the ability to work autonomously in demanding conditions. Preference will be given to those based in Juneau or Anchorage, but applicants from the lower 48 states with convenient airport access are also welcome.
