About the PositionThe UAA Center for Human Development/Alaska Training Cooperative promotes healthcare and behavioral health career development opportunities. The IS Ops Technician will provide project management and in‑house support for the Learning Management System (LMS) and other technical skills needed to maintain the AKTC's workforce training mission.
Responsibilities- Provide project management for the LMS and related technical support.
- Maintain and update the LMS and other training systems.
- Track and manage workflow in registration and learning management systems.
- Support training program technologies and software.
- Work with training staff, teams, and multiple projects concurrently.
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., information technology) and 3 years experience, or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience with mid‑level Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with tracking and workflow in registration systems and/or LMS.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience providing support/customer service to a diverse range of learners.
Location:
University of Alaska campus, Anchorage. Flexible on‑site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered.
Type:
Full‑time, term‑funded, non‑exempt staff position. Salary grade 78. Benefits include retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental, and vision coverage.
