Job Title:Banquet Manager
The Banquet Manager is responsible for making sure the event runs smoothly, efficiently and handles any crisis that may come up. Engaging service, delicious cuisine and distinctive surroundings make every special event at 49th State Brewing Company a truly memorable affair.
Responsibilities:- Showcase your communication and organization skills, leading and liaising with multiple departments to ensure each group function is exceptional.
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the banquet department as well as events bar/food services.
- Manage daily operations on the floor.
- Review all banquet event orders to ensure proper set-ups are in place and correct.
- Critically assess procedures, policies, and methods of operation and alter them where necessary.
- Ensure that all equipment, fixtures, and furniture of the department are kept in good supply and in the best repair possible.
- Maintain and ensure that all function information is kept up to date with respect to all changes and/or revisions.
- Develop and maintain a safety culture within the department and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations of the Banquet department.
- Develop and maintain a constructive, harmonious, and communicative working relationship with all supporting departments.
- Coach and train the team in all aspects of the department, monitoring their development and providing critical feedback and performance reviews.
- Ensure guest satisfaction goals for the Department are met and/or exceeded.
- Develop strong interpersonal relationships with guests on an ongoing basis.
