Assistant Director of Patient Access – Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Patient Access (ADPA) is a key member of the Northstar Behavioral Health Team. The ADPA serves as the subject matter expert in clinical decisions, recommendations and assistance for staff, and monitors and evaluates the clinical patient assessments and referral process.
- Assists in managing the Patient Access staff to achieve effective delivery of service.
- Assists the Director with orientation, training and staff scheduling.
- Facilitates admissions to North Star, current knowledge of statewide levels of care to make referrals or recommendations.
