Mental Health Counselor Masters

The Mental Health Counselor at Providence Adolescent Residential Treatment provides clinical care including assessment, therapy, and treatment planning for adolescents in a crisis recovery setting. This per diem position requires a master's degree and relevant licensure, with responsibilities encompassing individual, family, and group therapy along with client education and coordination with healthcare professionals. Description

Responsible for supporting all aspects of the clinical programming for the Crisis Recovery Center. Provides direct client care services in all assigned areas that includes assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy. Plans and provides client, family, peer and community education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians or ARNP responsible for the care of the client.

We are hiring for a Mental Health Counselor Masters position at Providence Adolescent Residential Treatment Program in Anchorage, AK!

Position is per diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable shift, Hours Per Week are as needed and not guaranteed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or health related field.

Preferred

Qualification:

  • 2 years of Clinical experience.
  • Upon hire:
    Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
