The Department of Corrections, Division of Health & Rehabilitation Services, is recruiting for multiple Mental Health Clinician 2's to join the team at the Anchorage Correctional Center (ACC), located in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Mental Health Clinician 3, this position will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain treatment plans for inmates assigned to caseload.
  • Respond to referrals from staff and make appropriate recommendations, including conducting mental status examinations, clinical interviews, suicide assessments and risk assessments.
  • Prepare, schedule, and facilitate psycho educational and psychotherapeutic groups for inmates in open population.

Working Environment You Can Expect

This position is located at the Anchorage Correctional Complex, a secure facility that holds unsentenced and sentenced inmates. This position will work closely with a team of correctional officers, mental health clinicians and medical staff.
