As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the friendly voice and reliable connection for patients, physicians, and insurance providers—helping ensure community members receive the home medical equipment and supplies they need. Your work will make a real impact on people’s health and comfort every single day.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive and process home medical equipment and supply orders.
  • Coordinate with physicians, insurance payers, and internal departments.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
  • Accurately enter data and maintain patient records.
  • Provide exceptional service both in person and over the phone.
  • Represent Pro Care with professionalism, compassion, and a sense of urgency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable.
  • Thrives under pressure with a sense of urgency and purpose.
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission‑driven team.
Preferred Experience
  • Insurance verification and prior authorizations.
  • Medical billing (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care).
  • Experience in a healthcare or medical office environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills (required).
  • Type at least 45 wpm; 10‑key by touch preferred.
  • Two years of DME/HME or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
