Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a variety of mammographic examinations requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to best demonstrate the anatomy of interest. You will support patient care and work collaboratively with your team.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammographic examinations and other related tests.
- Use life‑saving techniques and work well under pressure.
- Perform specified examinations with high quality and safety.
- Introduce basic mammography skills to student technologists.
- Obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs.
- Act as the first line interface with customers in providing imaging needs.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- Vocational school graduate.
