The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHS&EM) is recruiting for an Emergency Management Specialist 2 in our Exercise Section!
This position is in the General Government (GGU) bargaining unit at a range 16.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:In this role you will play an pivotal role by supporting statewide and local preparedness for natural and human-caused incidents that may impact life, health, infrastructure, and property. You will be at the forefront by assisting with the development, implementation, and management of a modern and effective exercise program. Additionally, you will oversee, coordinate, and evaluate exercise activities across all 19 Alaska boroughs, engaging with communities that represent over 90% of the state’s population.

TheWorking Environment You Can Expect:
