We are seeking an experienced mortgage originator to join our team. This position is responsible for interviewing mortgage applicants with a high level of accuracy and great attention to detail. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to foster solid relationships.

Previous financial industry experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right applicant. Pay DOE.

Location:

Anchorage or Juneau. Salary:
Base plus commission (Pay DOE).

• Conduct loan applicant interviews to document income, debit and credit history.
• Gather applicant documentation.
• Maintain communication with applicant throughout the application process.
• Work closely with the loan underwriter.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and service meet Credit Union standards.

• Preferred:
  Two to five years of related experience. Two years of financial industry experience required in additionavljena of two years of real‑estate lending experience.
• Associate degree or completion of a specialized course of study or apprenticeship program.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of trust and diplomacy required for the position.
