Financial Center - Relationship Specialist 2 - Full Time - Onsite (AK)

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Specialist II (RS II) to serve members in‑person or over the phone. This universal role covers duties of a concierge, RS I, ITM Rep and Relationship Manager I, ensuring branch operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Consults with members to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions.
• Hold conversations that matter with members either in person or over the phone.
• Utilize various call reports to drive more business throughout the workday and during scheduled call nights.
• Perform job duties such as escorting members to appropriate destinations, receiving and disbursing funds, opening new accounts/sub‑shares, and originating loans, including consumer loan types such as Closed‑end Signature and VISA.
• Perform account maintenance tasks: issuing/re‑pinning ATM/Debit cards, changing addresses and names, adding/updating account setups, joint owners, and beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts, providing notary services, and issuing cashier’s checks.
• Recommend and refer appropriate products and services, including mortgage, investment services, and Autoland, through meaningful conversations with members.
• Ensure the branch is in balance, including the TCR.
• Identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity.
• Complete all required training and compliance modules.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement activities and Credit Union events such as Car Sales, Open House, and Open Enrollments to help achieve organizational and individual goals.
• Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Treat all team members and members with respect.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• 1 year experience in a similar position with prior loan experience and ability to reach service and performance goals.
• Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations, including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D and Regulation

• Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and services.
• Working knowledge of loan products and associated systems (e.g., Loans PQ).
• Proven ability to garner business.
• Genuine interest in helping members through conversations that matter, with an empathetic and caring nature.
• Capable of working under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
• Proficient in PC operations and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Good verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, member service, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.

• Successful completion of all compliance‑related coursework
• NMLS Registered
• Notary preferred

Alaska:
Minimum $21.34 – Mid $26.68 – Maximum $32.01
