We believe travel has the power to open minds and build connections. In this role, you will share your knowledge as the Rail Division's Traveling Concierge, sharing all the amazing tours and features of our land-based operations in Denali National Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performs a variety of entry-level sales tasks.

* Regular entry of tours into a POS (point of sales) system.

* Routinely presents information for up to 88 guests at a time on a microphone.

* Reconciles and reports on daily sales activities.

* Assists with passenger loading and unloading.

* Assists with Food & Beverage operations when needed

* Answers general inquiries from customers, employees, and management.

REQUIREMENTS

* Must have a valid driver's license (not revoked or suspended) with no more than 2 moving violations.

* Must pass a pre-employment background check.

* Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.

* Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

* Ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card.

* Ability to lift 50 lbs.

* Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.

* Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.

* Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
