Engineer/Architect 2 (PCN 253425) – Anchorage International Airport, AK

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Anchorage International Airport, is looking for an Engineer/Architect 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
Responsibilities- Lead delivery of the Airport’s Capital Improvement Program for buildings, guiding projects from concept through successful closeout.
- Direct multiple facility maintenance projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, stay on budget, and finish on schedule.
- Supervise staff and advance the Airport’s building permits program.
- Collaborate with Airport leadership as well as Federal and State officials to move projects forward.
- Partner with consultants and contractors to design and implement high-value improvements.
- Provide technical expertise to shape future airport development.
- Support operational goals through additional assignments that enhance airport performance.

Working EnvironmentThis position is located at the Anchorage International Airport (ANC) on the third floor of the South Terminal.
Your typical day will consist of
- Overseeing projects and coordinating with Airport staff, consultants, contractors, and leadership.
- Monitoring and providing guidance for the Airport’s building permits program.
- Identifying new projects, developing scopes of work, and preparing budgets for management approval.
There will be opportunities for training which may include travel; however, there is no required travel for this position.
