Environmental Engineer, Environmental Compliance
The position requires a dynamic individual with an engineering background, the ability to work flexible hours, and a willingness to travel periodically. The position will include a variety of field assignments related to contaminated site characterization, monitoring, and remediation, and office work, such as preparation of planning and reporting documents. Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations is required for higher-level position grades.
The overall position requires an individual who is looking to advance their career and would like to be involved with a diversity of assignments including sampling groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and air for environmental contaminants; gathering and recording environmental data; oversight of groundwater monitoring well installation; design and operation of remediation and treatment systems; use of global positioning systems; tabulating data;
and preparing work plans and field reports.

Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with a preference for civil, environmental, chemical, or geotechnical
- Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies to obtain security access badges
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to drive a company vehicle
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Online
- Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of relevant professional working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree, such as an MS, may be substituted for work experience
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant professional working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree, such as an MS, may be substituted for work experience
