As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure across our state, from concept through design, construction services, and commissioning. You will also support business development, manage client relationships, and lead project teams across disciplines.
Responsibilities- Deliver projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning.
- Provide leadership and coordination to multi‑discipline delivery teams.
- Manage and/or lead projects in accordance with contract requirements and Jacobs’ business processes, driving profitability and building new business opportunities.
- Support the development of strategies and tactics related to key client programs, projects, and overall portfolios.
- Work with business development and sales staff in their efforts to position for new opportunities and/or the preparation of proposals.
- Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety, and inclusion and diversity.
- Coach, develop, and mentor staff to deliver superior results collectively and individually.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 15 years in the industry with directly applicable project management experience.
- Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
- Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated aptitude, ability, and capacity to build and support a team.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated comparable experience.
- A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients.
