Art Model; Nude and Clothed

Job Description

The UAA College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Art is recruiting both clothed and nude art models for the 2025‑2026 Academic Year. All shapes and sizes are encouraged to apply. The primary purpose is to provide art students with opportunities to practice, learn, and improve their perceptive skills and artistic expression inspired by the human body in an art studio setting.

Applicants should indicate in your application which category you wish to be considered for (clothed, nude, or no preference).

The model provides sessions that typically last 2 hours and 45 minutes, once or twice a week, depending on instructor needs. Successful models pose in inspiring, graceful, or physically challenging positions and hold these positions for extended periods without moving.

This is a part‑time, non‑exempt temporary position located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus. Pay:

• Clothed models – Grade 75, Step 1: $16.15/hr.
• Nude models – Grade 77, Step 1: $20.47/hr.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Applicants who require visa sponsorship are not eligible.

Background check required; offer contingent upon clearance.
