Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium seeks a Cardiologist to join our team at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. As part of our Cardiology team, you will provide outpatient management and inpatient consults with exposure to advanced disease and challenging pathologies, including advanced valvular disease.
Physicians provide telemedicine consults using our world-renowned AFHCAN telemedicine ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) and manage patients at rural outreach clinics throughout the state . Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography, and cohesive team make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
Work Schedule
Qualifications :
Completion of an ACGME/AOA residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology; BE/BC in Cardiology; willing to travel to rural communities in the state 2-3 days at a time five to six times per year.
