Description
Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant/Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Regional Office in Anchorage, Alaska. This on‑site, in‑person position will provide high‑level program management and analyst support to executives and senior staff, including the Regional Administrator and other senior managers in the Regional Office. The work directly supports the FAA’s safety mission and statutory requirements across safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across the Region and other federal agencies.
- Directly responsible for the business operations of the Alaskan Regional Office, including full‑lifecycle meeting facilitation, logistical coordination for engagement sessions, monitoring the office mailbox, and maintaining collaborative calendars in Microsoft Teams.
- Support executives and technical actions for the FAA Administrators, management team, and staff—including logistical support, administrative briefings, and urgent action items.
- Develop and finalize all documents delivered to the Region’s Chief Administrative Officer, internal and external stakeholders, and Congressional hearings.
- Utilize internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, E2, Concur, or agency‑specific tools) to manage workflows and communication.
- Coordinate and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including processing country clearances, travel authorizations, and expense vouchers while adhering to federal travel guidance and budget parameters.
- Conduct in‑depth research to lead and/or support FAA staff with special projects and routine tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent written communication skills; must proof, edit, and finalize official documents using independent discretion.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management, multi‑task, strong organizational skills, budget adherence experience, and manage meetings with diverse agency and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience with editing and proofreading official documents.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
- Position requires on‑site support five days a week at the FAA’s Regional Office in Anchorage, Alaska; no telework or remote option.
- Prior experience working in federal government contracting.
- Working knowledge of FAA systems.
- Working knowledge of Adobe and SharePoint.
