Location and Eligibility
Office Assistant 3 position located in Anchorage, Alaska. Full-time. Open to Alaska residents only. Please check residency definition to determine eligibility.
Position OverviewLead clerical unit of two Office Assistant 2s, assign work, set task priorities, evaluate performance. Provide hard copy case record management and administrative support for the Anchorage Regional Office. Manage closed case file management and archive per OCS directives. Assist in child protection background checks and archive aged‑out client files.

Working Environment You Can ExpectThe position is located at the Anchorage Regional Office off of Tudor and C Street, within walking distance to midtown amenities.

- Vehicle use may be required. Mileage reimbursement is available when a personal vehicle is used. Personal vehicle insurance must be in place before use.
- Successful candidate may be required to attend multiple training courses normally located in Anchorage.
High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D., basic adult education, accredited college acceptance, or alternative acknowledgment). One year of clerical experience (reception, answering routine questions, retrieving information, recording expenditures, typing correspondence). Education from an accredited college may substitute for six months of the required experience. Some positions may require a regular driver’s license and be 18+ or a typing skill.
