Join our team as the Accounting Coordinator and play an essential role in supporting hotel operations through strong financial stewardship and exceptional service. This position partners closely with the General Manager and Regional Accounting Manager and provides day-to-day support across a variety of accounting and administrative functions.

Position Purpose

The Accounting Coordinator will assist with accounts payable processing, vendor management, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll support, and other administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys contributing to a collaborative, service-focused team.

Example Of Duties Essential Functions
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data alongside other employees of the accounting department.
  • Creating financial reports and budgets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Assisting in the payment of corporate bills and the collection of debts.
  • Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory controls.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the company’s financial rules and policies, as well as those of the local, state, and federal governments.
  • Assisting with controlling the payroll and reconciling bank statements.
  • Preparing accurate month‑end accounts with comparison to forecast.
  • Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning including projected room revenue.
  • Maintaining accurate and current AP and AR records.
  • Processing cash disbursements and cash receipts.
  • Performing month‑end close reconciliation and financial analysis.
  • Reviewing daily cash balances and maintaining cash flow projections.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
  • Reviewing vendor invoices and monthly statements to ensure all expenses are processed in the AP system.
  • Working with vendors promptly.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor/Manager.

The hospitality business which functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times. A professional, hospitable demeanor is required at all times.
