• Perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair, construction, and alteration work across assigned trades.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
• Analyze and communicate job conditions accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, shop areas, and supplies.
• Respond to public inquiries and complaints regarding City facilities.
• Use appropriate safety equipment and follow safe work practices.
• Lift and move heavy materials and equipment (up to 100 lbs).
• Use a city purchasing card to procure materials when needed.

• Clean, repair, sandblast, prime, and paint surfaces.
• Strip and hang wall coverings; dye upholstery.
• Refinish furniture, cabinetry, flooring, and concrete surfaces.
• Match paint colors/sheen and apply appropriate finishes.
• Operate electrostatic, atomizing, and commercial spray/painting equipment.
• Perform graffiti removal using sandblasting equipment.
