Part‑time, weekend work required.

Base pay $29,930 – $47,450 per year, plus commission, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.

• Provide interior design advice, product expertise, and thorough follow‑up to facilitate customer experience and influence sales/purchasing decisions.
• Log all client showroom visits and detailed preferences in CMT; communicate with customers and internal team to follow leads and close sales.
• Prospect new business with custom builders and residential designers; make outside sales calls and log contacts in CMT.
• Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, order and ship customer examples, and coordinate with suppliers for current design and product offerings.
• Plan and host showroom tours and industry events; attend trade events to develop relationships and build brand awareness.
• Work evening and weekend hours.

• Four‑year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Competencies:
  
  Sales, customer engagement, design sketching and reading blueprints, Auto‑CAD (plus), color coordination, interior design trends, customer buying habits, creative thinking.
• Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions and communicate them to clients.
• Computer skills: MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; customer‑management tools welcome.
• Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Job requires standing, using hands, reaching; ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, sit.
• May lift up to 80 pounds; requires close and peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasional fumes or airborne particles; various temperatures.
• Workplace noise levels usually loud.
