Quality Control Chemist

A manufacturing laboratory is seeking a full-time QC/R&D Chemist to perform testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports both quality control and research & development, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements while contributing to product development initiatives.

Pay: $26.00–$28.00/hour

• Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods.
• Conduct stability testing and monitor production batches.
• Prepare and send samples to third-party labs.
• Maintain inventory of materials, components, and supplies.
• Record and analyze test data, prepare reports, and create documentation (spec sheets, COAs, OTC/QC regulatory documents).
• Assist with lab-scale batch preparation for product development.
• Inspect equipment, documentation, and products before and after filling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 1–2+ years of experience in QC, R&D, or analytical laboratory work.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
