Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Recovery
Primarily responsible for providing acute patient care in a safe and effective manner in the Cath Lab Recovery area from admission to discharge. Additional responsibilities include directing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessing patients, planning care/intervention, teaching patients/family, implementing treatment plans/MD orders, documenting and evaluating care.
Representative duties:
- Collaboration with the health care team, patients, and families to coordinate patient care delivery.
- Participation in ongoing feedback related to self, individual, unit, and organizational performance improvement.
- Integration of patient care standards and protocols into personal practice and assisting other RNs.
- Completion of patient care assignments and documentation, asking for and offering assistance as appropriate, and delegating as appropriate.
- This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC‑Anaheim Regional Medical Center. The employee is expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC and AHMC Healthcare Inc. The employee will support the strategic plan and goals, performance improvement plan, and all organizational expectations including customer service, patient rights, confidentiality of information, environment of care, and other initiatives.
/ Training / Experience
- Licensed in the State of California to practice nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- One year acute care experience in critical care or peri‑anesthesia preferred; consideration for staff with strong education and associated experiential background.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Current CA RN license required.
- Current BLS‑HCP required.
- Current ACLS required within six months of hire/transfer for RNs new to the specialty.
