Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Recovery

Primarily responsible for providing acute patient care in a safe and effective manner in the Cath Lab Recovery area from admission to discharge. Additional responsibilities include directing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessing patients, planning care/intervention, teaching patients/family, implementing treatment plans/MD orders, documenting and evaluating care.

Representative duties:

• Collaboration with the health care team, patients, and families to coordinate patient care delivery.
• Participation in ongoing feedback related to self, individual, unit, and organizational performance improvement.
• Integration of patient care standards and protocols into personal practice and assisting other RNs.
• Completion of patient care assignments and documentation, asking for and offering assistance as appropriate, and delegating as appropriate.
• This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC‑Anaheim Regional Medical Center. • Licensed in the State of California to practice nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience in critical care or peri‑anesthesia preferred; consideration for staff with strong education and associated experiential background.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Current CA RN license required.
• Current BLS‑HCP required.
• Current ACLS required within six months of hire/transfer for RNs new to the specialty.
