Foreman, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Machine Operator

Overview

• Will work in conjunction with Supervisors on a day to day basis
• Responsible for Boring Equipment set-ups and managing operators
• Organize personnel according to daily schedule.
• Verifies that all machinery is producing at company standards as well as Quality and Safety.
• Ensure company safety standards at all times.
• Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors and other employees.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience: 5 years of manufacturing experience as a Machine Operator
• Previous experience with Boring Equipment
• Skills: Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
• Ability to assess and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess full knowledge of setup/change over all equipment within the cell/line, and perform them at standard operating rates within minimum downtime.
• Must have Drawing/Blueprint reading ability, Quality control experience using calipers, and basic math skills (calculate measurements).
