Job Title
CNC Machinist (First Shift)
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium.
- Take precise measurements using gauges, calipers, indicators, and micrometers to ensure accurate setup.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting, troubleshooting malfunctions, adjusting controls, and replacing worn tools in accordance with quality assurance procedures.
- Set up and troubleshoot 5‑axis machines for large complex parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from an accredited technical college is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible milling experience; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
- Basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary engineering principles.
- Ability to read blueprints, follow work orders, and accept verbal instructions.
- Recent experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
$24—$28 USD per hour in California.
