Mechanical Superintendent

Position Overview: The Mechanical Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations, managing mechanical site leads and their crews on various solar, ESS, and construction projects. The successful candidate will be in the field approximately 75% of the time, ensuring effective execution, compliance, and efficiency, and will dedicate the remaining 25% to coordinating with upper management and internal company resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and professional development to mechanical site leads and field crews.
• Schedule and allocate crews and resources effectively.
• Read, interpret, and verify project compliance against plans and OEM specification sheets.
• Develop and implement structured programs for team management, communication protocols, and approval processes.
• Regularly review and verify daily reports submitted by site leads.
• Monitor and approve timecards, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Proactively coordinate with site leads to establish project goals and manage labor hours within allocated budgets.
• Communicate consistently with upper management regarding project statuses, resource requirements, and potential issues.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in solar, ESS, or construction industries.
• Proven track record of team leadership, professional development, and effective crew management.
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling and resource allocation.
• Strong ability to interpret plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software and reporting tools.

• Work truck and gas card provided.
• Frequent travel to project sites required (approx. 75%).
