Job SummaryUniversity Mechanical and Engineering Contractors is currently seeking an experienced Driver/Warehouse Assistant. for our Anaheim, CA location. This position will deliver and pick up tools, equipment from all job sites in the Los Angeles area. And assist the Warehouse Manager in the maintenance of equipment. using a 1-Ton 12 ft. flat-bed truck or a F-650 24 ft. flat-bed truck.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesNote:
This is not intended to be neither a detailed nor comprehensive description on any individual employee’s job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.
Duties to include are as follows:
- Must be able to drive a 1-Ton 12 ft. flat-bed truck and a F-650 24 ft. flat-bed truck.
- Must have Forklift experience
- Loading and Unloading materials for sites.
- Facility / Yard Maintenance
- Small Tool and Equipment Repair
- Mobilize and demobilize job sites
- Ability to read GPS or maps
- Other duties as requested
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds & climb up and down equipment

COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have computer skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and GPS.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3 to 4 years of general knowledge in construction operations preferred.
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES
To perform the job successfully, the employee should demonstrate the following competencies:
Must have a clean Department of Motor Vehicle Record. Must have experience in driving large trucks and securing down large loads. Must be able to use Thomas Brothers Map, computer for directions or GPS software. Must have a common knowledge of construction tools for mechanical industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of employees, vendors, and suppliers.

Compensation Range: $32 to $37 per hour
