Senior Network Engineer- Local to Orange County, California

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking Senior Network Engineers in Orange County California. Hybrid must live in the Orange County Area. This is a 6 month contract with the possibilty of conversion to a permanent position.

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Salary Range $75.00- $85.00 per hour.

Hybrid
- Approximately 3 days on site (flexible)

Travel:
Open to light travel to LA and AZ.

• Bachelors Degree and six to eight years of experience in network, security, telecom or IT systems development.
• Equivalent experience level may offset educational requirement.
• Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of moderately complex systems, including experience with EIGRP, F5, Palo Alto, Avaya, Genesis, Cisco, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VPN, IDS, IPS, TACACS, RSA.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE or security certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts including emerging software defined networks and CCaaS systems.
• Solid understanding the principles of routing, firewalls and phone system configurations and programming.
• Expert knowledge of networking, security protocols, telecommunications systems and deployments.
• Knowledge of writing technical documents, configuration drawings, network management tools and networking technology
• Ability to determine whether a particular problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
• Good knowledge of data security and encryption
• Other duties as assigned .
