Role Overview
As the Vice President of Operations Management, you will be a key driver in our mission, responsible for:
- Overseeing P&L for mature markets: You will be accountable for achieving revenue, margin, and quality targets by state.
- Leading the Operations team: Manage our team of 35+ professionals across Care Ops, Health Plan Ops, and Revenue Cycle Management, ensuring excellent performance.
- Driving key operational metrics: Enhance operational efficiency by focusing on:
- Timely access to care: Ensure families referred to Cartwheel can access services without delay.
- Engagement in care: Increase the conversion of families engaging in our services.
- Care revenue growth: Boost total revenue generated from our care delivery.
- Improving care margin: Increase insurance revenue while lowering cost per session.
- Achieving collections targets: Meet gross and net revenue collections goals.
- Streamlining payer contracting: Ensure quick and efficient enrollment of clinicians with payers.
- Fostering team engagement: Maintain high levels of team performance and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT): Work alongside SLT to set strategies, develop company goals, and deliver on our commitments.
- Cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate with Clinical, People, and Finance leaders to enhance service delivery. Work with R&D/Technology to improve our systems and tools, including the deployment of AI agents. Coordinate with Sales, Success, Marketing, and Government Affairs teams to support sales and retention goals.
Your Qualifications
- Passionate about youth mental health and dedicated to partnering with schools.
- 10+ years of healthcare operations experience, particularly in fast-paced, venture-backed environments during growth phases.
- Ability to build multi-state clinical operations in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Experience with Revenue Cycle Management.
- Proven leadership capabilities managing large, dynamic teams, including team managers.
- Exceptional analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Data-driven mindset with strong technical skills in performance metrics.
- Keen interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance healthcare services.
