Cortica is looking for dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our growing team and help us design and deliver life-changing care for children with neurodevelopmental differences. At Cortica, we don't just offer jobs; we offer careers with purpose, growth, and support.
Responsibilities- Provide direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings
- Implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement strategies with children including antecedent and reinforcement strategies based on treatment plans and BCBA guidance
- Work in home, community, school, clinic, or other designated settings with children and families per the assessment and treatment plan
- Fulfill documentation requirements including data collection, session notes, and progress tracking
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable performance of essential functions
- Team members may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Experience working with children, preferably with autism
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) or willing to obtain BCAT within the first 45 days through Cortica’s training program
- Available to work in the late afternoons and evenings
- Valid California Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Skilled with software and systems including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
- Pay Range: $21.18-$28.42 per hour, based on education and experience
- Fully guaranteed hours (no cancellation policy)
- Part-time roles with 2 or 5 day-per-week options during the afternoon hours
- Fully Paid Training & Certification: 3-week in-person orientation with hands-on training and BCAT exam review; exam fees fully covered
