Caregiving That Works for You – Choose Your Role!

Tandem Care is hiring passionate, reliable caregivers for two types of roles. Whether you want variety and full days or longer one-on-one visits with more control, we have a position for you.

Pay: $20–$22/hr + full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, bonuses)

This role is for caregivers who want to stay active and see 4–6 clients a day—like working in assisted living, but you’re on the go. You'll get guaranteed hours, a consistent paycheck, and full-time employment.

Hate downtime and love to stay busy - visits last between 45 minutes and 2 hours, on average.

Enjoy variety and are comfortable working with all types of clients (male, female, dementia, incontinence, pets, etc.)

Have a reliable car, your name on your auto insurance, and are willing to transport clients

Love driving and don’t mind traffic, finding parking, or staying organized between stops

Want to be part of a team and communicate often

Can commit to the same availability Monday–Friday

Not a good fit if:

You want to choose your own clients or decline certain types of care

You get easily frustrated by traffic, parking, or changes in your schedule

You prefer a set routine every day or only want a few hours here and there

You like working alone and don’t want to be part of a collaborative team

Pay: $18–$20/hr | No benefits | Full-time or weekend-only

This role is for caregivers who want longer visitsand consistent one-on-one relationships with clients. You choose the assignments that fit your availability and preferences.

Like working longer visits (all visits are minimum 6 hours)

Prefer working with one or two clients at a time

Like having more control over your schedule and who you work with

Enjoy slower-paced care and downtime between tasks

Not a good fit if:

You're only looking to pick up a shift here and there with no regular availability

You're only interested in providing companionship and not hands-on personal care

Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California

You must be registered with the state, have passed your Live Scan background check, and be listed as active

iPhone or Android smartphone – You’ll use work-related apps daily

Strong communication skills – We expect you to respond quickly and reliably

Reliability is non-negotiable – If your last employer would say you called out a lot, we’re probably not the right fit
