Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist

Overview

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist in Anaheim, CA. This position is for an Injury Prevention Specialist required to be on-site providing injury prevention services at a major theme park.

Full-time

5 days/week, 8 hrs/day with two consecutive days off. The days off will most likely be during the week and not the weekend. Our operation is from 6:30am – 11:30pm with the 8 hour shift sometime between those times.

$30-$34/hr, Commensurate with experience

• Full-time on-site coverage for an industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
• Delivery of the full continuum of on-site injury prevention services at the assigned location, including:
• Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
• Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
• Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise, and stretching
• Job coaching and behavior modification, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
• Office ergonomics
• Health and wellness consultation
• Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
• Regular communication with both client and Select leadership

Minimum

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training/Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science
• One year of experience in direct patient care
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification

Preferred

• Certification in NSCA, ACSM and/or CSCS
• Bilingual or any additional languages besides English
