The Settlement Accountant supports the financial management of ticketed and non-ticketed events at a premier entertainment venue in Anaheim. This role is well-suited for an early-career accounting professional eager to build experience in sports and entertainment while gaining direct exposure to live events, venue operations, and event promoters.

The position manages event finances from pre-event budgeting through post-event settlement and reporting, working cross-functionally with operations, production teams, finance, and external promoters to ensure accurate, timely settlements and insightful financial analysis.

• Prepare pre-event budgets and settlement estimates for concerts, sports, and special events
• Execute post-event settlements and communicate directly with promoters and settlement partners
• Reconcile event revenue streams including ticketing, food & beverage, merchandise, sponsorship, and ancillary income
• Prepare post-event flash reports and assist with variance and profitability analysis
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain event-level financial trackers and reporting dashboards

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a general accounting or finance role
• Strong Excel skills; experience with D365 FO or similar systems preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in sports, entertainment, or live events
• On-site presence required for select events
