Position OverviewYou are responsible for leading site-based process engineering projects and activities that drive continuous improvement, resolve chronic manufacturing issues, introduce new products or re‑site existing products. This position also supports and deploys GBU‑wide best practices and manufacturing standards along with supporting new capital investments and technology common across Composite Materials Manufacturing sites.
Performance Objectives- Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within their organizational control.
- Support the short‑term tactical requests from the site‑based team while managing the long‑term strategic projects set forth by the global process engineering team.
- This position is a role that opens the candidate into the broader technical and operational management organization. This includes building a broad network across functions and other manufacturing locations.

- There are various technical and operational ladders available for development.
- Bachelor of Science (Engineering Preferred)
- Previous experience in quality/process engineering function in manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement background with demonstrated experience in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Preferably has experience in composite material / adhesive material manufacturing or other similar continuous web process industries (paper, film, foil, or textile industries)
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in quality/manufacturing/process engineering
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi‑task
- Understanding manufacturing processes and value chain.
- Understand key operational metrics and communicate across organization to achieve clear alignment and focus.
- Understanding of quality systems, ISO
9001/AS9100 requirements. - Understanding processes to engage cross-functional teams to solve quality and process capability problems.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Manage priorities and multitask from a number of sources
- Data driven, strong analytical skill set
Flexibility to travel to other locations and work outside normal working hours as required by the projects (could be 5-10% travel).
Location:
Anaheim, Ca (On Site).
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (must meet the definition of ITAR. Restricted to U.S. Persons (citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals)).
- Competitive salary benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $107,000 to $168,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
- 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co‑parenting leave, according to local regulations.
