Jr Voice Technician

6-Month Contract-to-Hire

We are hiring a Jr Voice Technician in Anaheim, CA to support and maintain enterprise-level Cisco and Avaya voice systems. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on VoIP professional looking to grow within a collaborative IT environment. This role offers long-term potential with contract-to-hire conversion.

• Deploy, configure, and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity environments
• Manage VoIP endpoints, SIP trunks, gateways, voicemail platforms, and dial plans
• Perform MACDs (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes) for users and devices
• Troubleshoot call quality, latency, jitter, and connectivity issues
• Support Cisco Jabber and softphone environments
• Utilize tools such as Wireshark and Solar Winds for diagnostics and monitoring
• Partner with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless voice/data integration
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for voice-related incidents and service requests
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures

• 3+ years of experience supporting Cisco and Avaya voice systems
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, SCCP, H.323) and QoS principles
• Experience working in enterprise telephony or unified communications environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex voice and network-related issues
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Avaya ACIS or related voice certification
